The military parade on December 1, Romania’s National Day, marks the 104th anniversary of the Grand Alliance, and more than 1,500 soldiers and specialists from the MApN, MAI, SRI and SPP will parade in the capital along with more than 120 pieces of equipment, and almost 30 aircraft will fly over the city.

For the first time, American soldiers with military equipment of the 101st Airborne Division of the United States, as well as servicemen of the newly formed NATO battle group from our country, will take part in the parade. At this year’s parade, the Romanian military will present two of the Romanian Army’s newest pieces of equipment: the HIMARS anti-aircraft missile system and the Patriot air and missile defense system. Foreign military is present with 25 technical means, including combat aircraft from Canada, Italy, Spain and the United States of America.
