Launched in 1970 and has since descended through four generations Suzuki Jimny it is a small 4×4 that is appreciated by lovers of outdoor adventures and slightly unusual models. The third generation, released in 1998, has the greatest durability in its 20-year career, and there are still many of them on our roads, especially in rural areas.

Suzuki Jimny Motorhome: an unusual transformation

This particular model, with around 165,000 kilometers on the odometer, was sold by Bonhams auction house for £8,000, equivalent to around €9,300. It differs a matte blue shade and wheels with black caps, which gives it an unusual look.

If at the front we find the interior of a completely ordinary Jimny of the third generation, then the rear part of the car was equipped with a small mobile home cell, equipped with a cover that rests on the driver’s cabin. It has two compartments on each side, a skylight in the roof, and a door at the back which can be accessed by a small ladder. Hankook Dynapro tires mounted on all four wheels, as well as a spare wheel attached to the rear, are reminders of the donor model’s adventurous origins.

Suzuki Jimny Motorhome: for adventures for two

On board, even if the space is limited, the internal height is only 1.52 meters, we find at the bottom a living space consisting of kitchen set a transport room, a two-burner gas stove, a sink, a refrigerator, as well as electrical equipment that runs on an additional battery.

Opposite is a bench where you can sit down to eat or rest. The upper floor provides access to a double bed approximately 2.1 meters long. However, its width and height above the head are limited, so this bedding does not seem to be the most comfortable.
