
Six car brands from China are trying to enter the Romanian market through some companies that have more than 20 years of experience in Romania, with more famous brands. Thus, the Chinese brands DFSK, SERES, BAIC, FAW, Bestune, JAC and Brilliance – SWM Motors started selling in Romania in 2022 through SUVCARS, an alliance that resulted from the joint business efforts of MAG Automobile and New Car Trading.
“The first units arrived to us in February 2022. We have access to spare parts and service in several cities in Romania,” said Emanuel Medvedev, CEO of SUVCARS, to 0-100.ro.
The company was present at the Bucharest Auto & Accessories Show, edition 2022. Most of the imported cars are either electric or with 1.5-liter gasoline engines.
In fact, two dealers of well-known brands decided to also act as importers for six Chinese brands, sensing the market potential.
