On the contrary, the SC points out, the municipality of Athens did not revoke the permit for the construction of the building, did not designate the last two floors and the roof of the hotel as unauthorized and subject to demolition, and did not organize their demolition. Instead, he only withdrew the 2019 revision, which for the Supreme Court to annul “is not compliance.”
The Compliance Board has given the Municipality of Athens a three-month time limit to take all necessary action, indicating that it will review the matter on February 14, 2023.
