Before the start of the Bundesliga season, Sebastien Haller complained of pain in the groin area, and after additional tests and examinations, he was diagnosed with testicular cancer.
Sebastian Haller was operated on – the nightmare is not over – the Ivorian will undergo another operation
During this period, Haller underwent surgery specifically to remove the tumor, but the Borussia striker confirmed in a statement on Twitter that he will have to undergo another operation to put an end to the problem.
“I am informing you that the battle is not over for me. I will have to undergo another surgery to permanently remove this tumor that is preventing me from playing on the field.
I want to thank you all for your messages of support and the strength you have given me in this endeavour.” Haller said.
Comme prévéde depuis le débuy, different options were considered after chemotherapy. Je vous annonce que le combat n’est pas termine pour moi. Je vais devoir subir une operation pour en finir definitiveamente avec cette tumor qui m’éloigne des terrains.

In the summer of this year, Dortmund “Borussia” paid Amsterdam “Ajax” the sum of 31 million euros.
Since his diagnosis, Haller has been training with his former colleagues in Holland, but he’s also had sessions where he’s been training on his own.
