
Authorities have been alerted in connection with the overturning of a tanker truck outside Larisa. Due to flammable materials, 38 firefighters in 12 vehicles are on the scene.
The Thessaly Regional General Police Directorate announced that in the flow of traffic towards Athens, the movement of vehicles has been stopped in both flows on the ATHE highway until further notice.

The police also closed the side road of Makrigory and prohibited any vehicle from entering a particular provincial road as the vehicles are forced to turn back to Larissa or Tirnavos.
