Tesla: will Elon Musk’s takeover of Twitter benefit the manufacturer? News from Auto Plus in your smartphone News from Auto Plus in your mailbox

It was official for a while. After a long soap opera punctuated by vicissitudes, Elon Musk finally became the new CEO of Twitter. A case that finally ended, although the boss abandoned his project for a while. Brought to justice through the social network, he was finally forced to implement his idea for an amount exceeding 44 billion dollars. Suffice it to say, it’s best to think twice before you start. But that’s it, it’s done. And the boss wasted no time, having already fired several hundred employees, including former managers. Some are worried about the future of the platform.

And Tesla in all this?

Indeed, MEPs even demanded a hearing of Elon Musk in the European Parliament to ” learn more about his intentions but also to remind him of his obligations to the law and freedom of speech. But will the fact that the leader of Tesla is now in charge of the social network affect the brand? For example, can we still talk about it badly? Upon his arrival as CEO, Musk said he wanted to ” absolute freedom of expression ” on Twitter. So we inevitably tell ourselves that it will still be possible to talk about Tesla, not necessarily only good things. But in reality, nothing says that necessarily will be the case. Especially since we know , that the manufacturer does not really like when we criticize him.

Great ad

But Elon Musk’s takeover of Twitter could also be a big publicity stunt for the American manufacturer. Indeed, if he had never invested in advertising, he could have found an excellent one way of communication. But we still don’t know how that will translate, although the brand has even decided to no longer have a press office in the United States.
