Three doctors from a hospital in Fokshan County are being investigated by prosecutors after a 17-year-old girl died from complications following a caesarean section.
The Prosecutor’s Office of the Fokshan District Court announced on Wednesday in a press release that the criminal proceedings registered on July 19 relate to the crime of involuntary manslaughter after a 17-year-old girl died on July 16 in the surgical department of St. Panteleimon District Hospital in Fokshan due to complications after caesarean section.
In the case, three doctors were prosecuted for manslaughter, intellectual forgery and favoring a criminal, and several searches were carried out on Tuesday at some people’s homes as well as a district hospital in Phokshan.
“In addition, investigative actions are being conducted to establish all the circumstances of the committed actions and to find out the truth in the case with the aim of bringing criminal responsibility to all involved persons,” the prosecutor’s office of the Fokša court also reported, reports News.ro.
