
ANAF inspectors checked the activities of 86 companies specializing in lending through pawnshops and trading in precious stones and metals.
They discovered violations of tax and accounting legislation, for the elimination of which fines were imposed in the total amount of 825,500 lei.
Also, more than 3 kg of gold articles with an approximate market value of 706,440 lei were confiscated for violation of the regime of precious metals and precious stones.
“By the way, only in the pawn shop in Strehai (Mehedinka district) fraud inspectors confiscated 1.58 kg of gold items with an estimated value of 317,684 lei. Until now, 0.93029 kg of gold has been seized through the Territorial Service for the Valorization of Goods in Gorzh County of the State Finance Office,” the quoted source said.
Tax fraud inspectors will continue to check both the way retail income is taxed and compliance with the obligation to connect electronic cash registers to the ANAF IT system and their use.
