USR will not suspend Clotilde Armand from the party after allegations of conflict of interest and incompatibility by ANI. The president of the “Save Romania” Union, Catalin Drula, says that he has “big question marks” about the activities of this institution.
He believes that ANI “should not look at 3,000 lei per month”, but “at many incomprehensible millions of lei”.
- “My colleague Clotilda Armand explained this case in detail yesterday, explained that she has all the approvals from all institutions. To me, there are some big question marks about how this institution, ANI, works.
- Unfortunately, these non-judicial institutions, I mean ANI, I mean DLAF for example, and we are aware of another prosecution of my party colleague Mr. Dan Barna, in which nothing has been decided and for which was nothing, but which tarnished his name, I believe that ANI should not look there at 3,000 lei per month, for five months, in a project that is in the area of this increase, which all the mayors and those of PNL and PSD have it, working with European funds, but they have to look at many millions of obscure lei.
- Perhaps this explains the inexplicable wealth of Mr. Rafila, who is constantly working for the state.
- This is an institution about whose activities I have very big question marks, including how it acted in this case, but in the end Clotilde Armand explained these things, was accessible to anyone, and I believe that it will be clarified for the end,” Drula told RFI.
The National Integrity Agency accuses Clotilde Armand of a conflict of interest and incompatibility after the mayor of sector 1 identified himself as a project manager for European funds.
Clotilde Armand says she followed the law and will file a criminal complaint against the ANI representative who allegedly denied her access to the file.
The PSD is demanding his resignation, and the prefect of the capital, Tony Greble, has announced that he will challenge the provisions in an administrative dispute after being officially notified by the National Integrity Agency.
