
Ministry of Environment and Energy announces the inclusion of an additional 61,429 beneficiaries in the Recycling – Device Replacement program from the existing list of runners-up.
Resources for additional beneficiaries come from the Programme’s original budget of €150 million and are released progressively.
New beneficiaries are notified by private messages on their mobile phones.
Kostas Skrekas, Minister of the Environment and Energy, said: “In line with our commitments to date, we have managed to enroll a total of more than 230,000 beneficiaries in the Recycle, Replace Your Device program. A large number of consumers have the opportunity to recycle old energy-intensive appliances, effectively reducing their energy costs. An additional 140,000 beneficiaries are expected to be announced in the coming days, as was also announced by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.”
