Lamia took the lead twice, but Volos responded (2:2) with a pleasant game from the eleventh round of the Superleague. The match was fast paced and had many phases for both teams.

The hosts had their first big chance in the 2nd minute, when Slivka sent the ball into the post from a free-kick by De Vincenti.
