Farul opened the score for Pete (’28), Mioveni equalized with Karnat (’37), and the final score was set by Moldovianu (’85).

After this result, Gike Hagi’s team scored 40 points and moved 8 points away from Rapid (2nd place, not yet played at this stage) and 12 away from CFR Cluj (3rd place, has three games less). CS Mioveni remains in last place in the ranking with only 8 points.
