The LNG, which will be delivered by ship from various sources to the station, will be regasified, enter the national gas system and from there via pipelines to North Macedonia, Romania, Bulgaria, Albania, and also to Italy through an expanded connection with Greece. It should be noted that the construction of the FSRU in Alexandroupolis is underway with a completion horizon of 2023, with Gastrade also receiving permission to build a second station in the same area. The four new FSRUs, together with Revitusa and the pipeline network running through our country, will turn it into a key gas hub for the wider region.
