Aston Martin has announced that Stoffel Vandoorne will join the team at Silverstone in 2023 as reserve driver, and the vast majority are inclined to believe that Nico Hulkenberg will partner Kevin Magnussen at Haas next season.
With Mick Schumacher out of contract after Abu Dhabi, the battle for the final spot will be between him and Hülkenberg.
Günter Steiner, chairman of Haas, said he would choose a solution in the medium or long term. He also noted that the second pilot for 2023 will be announced before the Brazilian Grand Prix.
Although fans want Schumacher to continue, Steiner believes the chances of him continuing are slim, as he is often criticized for mistakes.
