
On Monday evening the President of the Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou a dinner was held in honor of the royal couple of the Netherlands, who are on an official visit to our country.
The menu, created by chef and partner “c” Christoforos Peskias, was based on the flavors of the sea. As the chef told us, dinner began with Cretan trakhan velute soup seasoned with Chios mastic and sheep’s milk halloumi. Then they served Spanakorizo with caviar, lemon confit, yoghurt sauce and Greek Tezauri caviar, and for the second – grilled Fagri with fennel puree and anise sauce. The entire menu was exclusively based on Greek products and small producers from all over Greece. Dinner ended with a Peloponnesian milk pie with whipped cream and honey-carob sauce.
