Dimitris V. Prusalis studied pedagogy, librarianship, and underwent retraining in special education. Since 1999, he has been researching, recording and studying folk tales. Works as a teacher. 71 out of 81 folk tales have never been published in the modern Greek language, being scientific records of foreign linguists, and the rest are rare, hard-to-reach editions of Asia Minor and foreign scientists of the period 1864-1921.
