“Only the brave and united right can save Romania from the red claws of the brotherhood of PSD and PNL barons,” PMP leader Eugen Tomac said before a meeting attended by more than 1,000 county council vice-presidents, mayors, vice-mayors on Saturday. in the Palace of the Parliament, the district and local councils of the People’s Movement Party elected the leadership of the party’s local electoral league, writes news.ro.

The election of the leadership of the League of Local Voters of the PMP, the party’s preparation for the 2024 elections and the consolidation of the right-wing opposition to the current parliamentary majority are the most important topics on the agenda, the party’s statement said.

“The League of Local Elected Members of the PMP is a special opportunity to discuss the main directions of action of the most important opposition party in the local state administration of Romania and the main barometer of the problems facing the Romanian society today,” PMP emphasizes.

But we are determined to protect every brave Romanian in this country who wants to engage in politics freely and solely in the interests of the people. • They promised that people would feel safe on the streets of Romania, but mafia clans continue to terrorize citizens. Romanians no longer trust anyone or anything. They no longer have any expectations from politicians,” party leader Yevhen Tomak wrote on Facebook on Saturday.

In his opinion, it is necessary for the PMP to gather ranks and build “a reliable alternative to the current government, which does not hear, does not see and does not understand the real Romania.”

“Every person, every community, every city deserves a new beginning, and we are obliged to build it together. Only brave and united right-wingers can save Romania from the red paws of the PSD and PNL baron brotherhood!”, Tomač concludes.
