For the second time in a week, Madonna literally shocked her fans, this time sharing a series of topless photos on Instagram, writes joe.co.uk
These photos are part of the 30th anniversary of her fifth album Erotica, which was released in October 1992 along with her first book, titled SE.X.
“Thirty years ago I published a book called SEX along with my nude photos. There were pictures of men kissing men, women kissing women, and I kissed everyone,” Madonna wrote on Instagram.
At that time, six singles were released from the album Erotica, including “Deeper and Deeper”, “Bad Girl”, “Fever”, “Rain” and “Bye Bye Baby”. Although less successful than previous albums, it peaked at number two on the US Billboard 200 and sold over six million copies worldwide.
Although fans were shocked by Madonna’s posts, many were quick to praise the singer, with one writing on Twitter: “I love Madonna, she can still do whatever she wants.” And another said: “I wish I looked this good when I’m 64.”
