OUR Vladimir Zelensky expressed doubt that her partial military service Russia Moscow announced earlier today when the Ukrainian president stressed that the poor performance of Russian troops meant Russia could need more men.
Earlier Friday, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said the partial mobilization of 300,000 reservists for combat operations in Ukraine had been completed. At a meeting with President Vladimir Putin, Shoigu said that 82,000 conscripts had already been sent to the war zone, 41,000 of them had already joined military units, and another 218,000 were in training centers.
“We have reports that the enemy has completed its recruitment, as if it is no longer necessary to send new waves of Russian citizens to the front. We feel very differently at the forefront,” Zelensky stressed.
“Although Russia is trying to increase the pressure on our positions with the help of reservists, they are so poorly trained and equipped, so brutally used by their administration, that it suggests that very soon Russia may need a new wave of people to send to war,” he added.
