Razvan Lucescu continues to face a number of challenges as PAOK prepare for the tenth game derby against AEK. Andrija Zivkovic and Omar El Kaduri were absent from the training session of the Thessaloniki national team.

Both have been treated and are still skeptical about the possibility of a Sunday derby. Also not participating in the training program were the well-known absentees Lyratzis, Tsausis, Tomas and Vierinia, who are expected to be out of action for some more time.

Thursday (27.10) was the day of the peak intensity of the team’s preparation for the game against AEK at the Opap Arena, the players also worked on tactics.

The program began with a warm-up, then the players were divided into two groups and dealt with both offensive tactics and defensive behavior. In the last track, we had a high-tempo 5v5 tournament.

Andrija Zivkovic stayed in the gym and continued his treatment, as did Lefteris Liratsis and Marios Tsushis, Omar El Kadouri handled the treatment and the individual program, while Brandon Thomas and Andre Vierinia also worked individually.

PAOK will train on Friday (28.10) at 10:30 in Nea Mesimvria.
