More … than 3 Grands Prix until the end of the 2022 season Formula 1. The next one arrives on Friday at Autodrom Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico. And even if the tension over the two constructors’ and drivers’ world titles finally ended last weekend in Austin after Max Verstappen’s victory, there is still plenty at stake to determine the full classification of drivers and teams.

This Sunday, the drivers will go for 71 racing laps on the small Mexican track with a length of 4.3 km.
Max Verstappen, alone above the stars?
If he wins this Mexican Grand Prix, the Dutch driver wins his 14th race of the season in 20 Grand Prix events. Apart from a whopping win ratio (70% first place at the end of the race), this would make him the only driver to win 14 times in a single season. So it will exceed Sebastian Vettel and Michael Schumacher with whom he currently holds the record for most wins in a single season.
A nuance, but before there were so many Grand Prix in one season. For example, the seven-time German world champion currently has the best win ratio of the 2004 season (13 wins in 18 GPs, or 72% of first place at the end of the race).
But there are still 3 races that Max Verstappen is quite capable of winning.
From the show to the end of the F1 season?
Who will be Max Verstappen’s successor? Can Mercedes overtake Ferrari in the Constructors’ Championship? Who will be the fourth force on the board? So many questions that make this end of the F1 season attractive. or Charles Leclerc can forget his title dreams in 2022 Ferrariyou’ll have to focus to stay second place in the championships. Sergio Perez is only 2 points behind the Monegasque driver in the drivers’ standings, and Mercedes is not far behind the Italian manufacturer in the constructors’ standings.

Another fierce struggle between Alpine and McLaren for fourth place in the Constructors’ Championship. The French national team has the advantage at the moment only 6 small dots. If Ricciardo still can’t do it behind the wheel of his single seater, Lando Norris did score 8 points last weekend compared to just 1 measly point reported by Esteban Ocon for the French team.
