AEK defeated Peristeri 84-80 in Game 3 of the Basketball League. Union remains undefeated in the league. It was the second defeat of Vassilis Spanoulis’s team. The match was stopped for half an hour due to incidents.

The Union went into the match better and took a 2-6 lead with Frazier. Vassilis Spanoulis’s team reacted and reduced the score to 7-8 due to Denmon’s downtime. With McGriff’s personal energy the score was 9-16 and AEK reached +9 (11-20) with Mitchell’s surprise basket. The Union led 78-80 with a minute and a half left in the game. Frazier hit a two-pointer for AEK 78-82 and Denmon cut the lead to two points. Williams returned the Kanzuris team to +4, and on the next stage, Moraitis made a mistake with Peristeri, giving the guests a strong advantage with 11 seconds left.
