Before the meeting with Ms Bourbock, the Minister of Foreign Affairs noted that he would inform his colleague about his recent visit to Ukraine, about the situation in the Eastern Mediterranean, while the agenda of the meeting also included issues of bilateral interest.
Asked about the expectations of the Greek side from the meeting, Mr. Dendias said that Ms. Bourbock “held with absolute clarity and a firm European position based on European principles and values both in Athens and Ankara.” However, he clarified that it is necessary to have constant information, like other EU ministers, about what is happening in the region and how the situation is developing.
Germany condemns Erdogan’s threats

Soltz comes to Greece

According to Mr. Buechner, the meeting with the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will take place on Thursday, and a joint press conference is scheduled for 12:00. A working lunch will follow.
As the representative of the German Chancellor noted, bilateral and current economic and European issues are on the agenda of the meeting. Herr Soltz will leave for Berlin in the afternoon of the same day.
