The attraction of Russian soldiers to washing machines in Ukraine is already well-documented: from household appliances forgotten in the trenches to washing machines transported on military trucks or stored in pigsties, where part of the Russian army was once transported.
Now the drone of the Ukrainian crew captured from the air the moment when two Russian soldiers steal a washing machine from a house and transport it in a car proudly marked with the letter Z.

Throughout the war, images of Russian soldiers stealing across Ukraine went viral. From images of Russians stealing carpets from homes, to whole truckloads of washing machines hitting the markets of Belarus and Russia, where they will be put up for sale along with the rest of the “spoils of war”.
The stolen washing machine is so ubiquitous among Russian troops that it has also been found in trenches attacked by the Ukrainians or in pig pens on a farm where the Russians have set up a temporary base.
