This price includes taxes, as well as a subsidy announced by DEPA, which is 9 cents per kilowatt hour.

With this data the price of natural gas is 20% lower than the price of fuel oilwhich is estimated (according to today’s data) in the range from 1.42 to 1.45 euros per liter.

We remind you that the distribution of fuel oil will begin tomorrow, Friday, October 14th.

Its price has fluctuated a lot in recent days, as just three days ago world price and dollar data led to estimates of a price increase of up to 1.55 euros per litre.

Oil price estimates include a government-announced subsidy of €0.25 per litre. Subsidies to beneficiaries of the heating allowance, which is available under expanded criteria this year, are not included.

According to sources in the oil market, demand, at least in the early days of the winter heating season, will be sluggish due to high prices, as well as relatively favorable weather conditions, at least in southern Greece.
