Kosmocar – Audi introduces the Audi Connect Plug & Play app, which connects an Audi owner’s smartphone to their car, quickly and easily turning it into a “connected vehicle”.

The DataPlug smart device, combined with the Audi Connect Plug & Play app, allows vehicles from 2008 to 2019 to become “connected cars” in a few simple steps on a smartphone.

Available for both iOS and Android, the Audi Connect Plug & Play app connects the driver’s smartphone via Bluetooth to the Audi DataPlug, instantly turning the car into a “connected car”.

With the Audi Connect Plug & Play app, drivers can access information about their car at any time, such as mileage, chassis number and fuel level, as well as mileage and days until the next service. The app also offers a range of useful information and services, such as direct roadside assistance or
Customer service, last parking spot, driving behavior and economical driving advisor, a list of authorized Audi Partners Network service networks in Greece, as well as games and routes to entertain users.

In addition, at this critical time for fuel costs, the user of the Audi Connect Plug & Play app can get a complete overview of refueling procedures and monthly fuel costs. Every time the Audi DataPlug records a process
refueling, the application user receives a notification on their smartphone that the refueling details have been recorded. With this feature, the driver can see not only the exact cost of fuel for each route, but also specific points on the route where he could save fuel if he had adopted a different driving style.
