The wife of Ilias Mikhos, accused of raping a 12-year-old girl in Kolonos, issued a statement describing his act as heinous, emphasizing that neither she nor their son had anything to do with the case, and also mentioning what she discussed with her mother child.
Elizaveta Lekka, regarding 53-year-old Ilias Mikhos, claims that they have been divorced for three years and that they simply lived together in a house that belongs to them half the time. However, when she heard what the 12-year-old boy’s mother had to say, she asked him for a divorce and kicked him out of the house.
Statement by the wife of 53-year-old Ilias Mihos
“These days, my child and I have become the object of cannibalism, with named and anonymous commentators using family responsibility for actions that we did not know about and had nothing to do with and for which we feel only disgust.
My ex-husband and I were essentially separated for three years, we just lived together in a house that belongs to us half the time.
9.03 in the morning, the mother of a minor girl sent me a message via a social network that she wanted to talk and shared with me two conversations between her ex-husband and a child, of shocking content, writing to me that she would report him for “sexual harassment of a minor”, as she she wrote to me and that if she does not do this, then her sister will do it, who also sent me a message with these dialogues. I literally lost the ground under my feet, we immediately talked to the mother of the child on a voice call and she repeated the same thing to me. I immediately demanded that my ex-husband leave home, as he did, and that we divorce, telling him that if he did not give me consent, I would file for divorce, citing what I had learned. He certainly agreed, we turned to lawyers, the necessary private agreement was drawn up and signed, and on October 4 we signed the act of divorce at the notary and we were irrevocably separated.
After 09.03, after the mother of the child sent me messages of dialogues and informed me, and after the same night, without my knowledge, she went to A.T. and denounced my ex-husband, asked me for money. The first time 100 euros for a taxi and to take the child to the doctor, as she wrote to me in a text message that I gave her. A few days later she asked me again for another 100 with a similar pretext and I gave it to her, for humanitarian reasons and shocked by what she told me in the messages. In the messages, she wrote that she allegedly did not contact the police and that she wanted me to help her whenever she asked me, and she asked me again on 8/9 for another 100 euros. I didn’t answer because I didn’t want this to continue, I received repeated text messages asking me to meet her to give her money, and after eleven (11) missed calls, which are recorded on my cell phone as well as on her messages asking for money, I blocked her and did not allow further contact. It is absolutely not true that I allegedly came to her house, offered her money, and she refused. Her text messages are in my possession and undoubtedly prove who asked for the money, lying about not going to the police.
My ex-husband will be judged by justice. I ask you to stop the lies and cannibalism of me and my child, who completely unreasonably lost his job, for actions to which we have nothing to do. For those who have not written terrible slanders and persecuted us, gone so far as to say that I supposedly knew and covered up or that there was supposedly a warrant issued for my arrest, we will go to the only competent court – the court.
