Sources from the Găesti Penitentiary told News.ro that the man was released from prison at 4:20 p.m., left the detention center and went to a nearby bar. He later returned to the prison and refused to come out, creating a commotion on the sidewalk in front of it and obstructing traffic.

The former prisoner is a recidivist. He was fined 2,000 lei for non-compliance with the provisions of Law No. 1000. 61/1991 on public order and tranquility.
