The ‘Greek Freak’ wore a Kobe Bryant jersey during a press conference following the Stags’ 123-113 loss to the Hawks in Abu Dhabi. As the Greek superstar explained, he was one of the best basketball players of all time.

“I had 4-5 T-shirts with me and today it was my turn to wear this one. I got to know Kobe a little, I’m not going to act like I’m his best friend. Many mention his name to divert attention. He is by far one of the greatest players to ever play basketball, I love his story, his journey, how he got started, how he got into the league, how he got better. Like he might have been one of the best, but he was always curious to know more.

In the end, it’s not just about talent, it’s far from everything. What matters is how disciplined you are, how much you can wake up every day and want to find ways to get better instead of being satisfied. I think the best players who have played have never been bored. Every day they woke up and wanted to discover something, a new challenge.
