Olympiacos defeated Panathinaikos 67-52 to win the Basketball Super Cup. Piraeus achieved a comfortable victory and took the first trophy of the season.

It was 8ⁱⁿ consecutive Piraeus victory on the shamrock. Excellent performance Vezenkov, who made a double-double.

The typical home team took a 9-2 lead thanks to a three-pointer by Williams with about seven minutes left in the first period. Thanks to a three-pointer by Williams, Radonic’s team’s lead was narrowed to single digits. However, Olympiacos had a solid 43–56 lead of over ten points in the third period thanks to two shots from Sloukas.

Thanks to Vezenkov’s three-pointer, Olympiacos took a 43–59 lead early in the last period. Panathinaikos tried to react to Lee and Ponitka. Nevertheless, the team of Giorgos Bartzokas controlled the situation and confidently went to victory and the trophy.
