EL.AS fighters started detaining 22 people. who participated in the operation that took place on Tuesday morning in Polytechnicpolis, Zografu, Kaysariani and Byron. in order to identify persons involved in drug cases.
Among those arrested during the operation in Polytechnoupolis and surrounding areas is also a female police officer who was allegedly in a relationship with one of the arrested.
Of the above arrests, 13 took place at the Polytechnopolis residence, outside of which an incident occurred with a 30-year-old Albanian who attacked a policeman. Police officer EL.AS. trying to protect herself, she shot at him, wounding him. The remaining nine arrests were made at home.
