Diego Schwartzman defeated Artur Rinderknech at the ATP in Tel Aviv

In the 1/8 finals of the competition in Israel, Schwartzman (the second favorite) was defeated after two hours and 37 minutes of play by Artur Rinderknech (58 ATP).

Just two days ago, the Frenchman needed three sets to overcome Marius Kopil in the first round (5) 6-7, 6-4, 6-3.

In the quarterfinals of the tournament in Tel Aviv, Rinderknech will meet with Russian Roman Safiullin (104 ATP).

Pablo Carreno-Busta lost to Marc-Andrea Helser at the ATP in Sofia

Spain’s Carreño-Busta, seeded No. 3 at the tournament in Bulgaria, lost after one hour and 43 minutes of play to Switzerland’s Marc-Andre Hüsler (95 ATP), score 6-3, 3-6, 6-2.

Huelser will face Poland’s Kamil Majczak (119 ATP) for a place in the semifinals.
