Commenting on the fact that a police cadet was among those detained during the police operation yesterday, the Minister for Citizens’ Protection explained that: “her actions are absolutely unacceptable, reprehensible and, of course, have nothing to do with the operation.” police. With regard to the work of the University Advocacy Groups (UPGs), the Minister noted that: “The UPGs are made up of young men and women who were students yesterday. This is fully coordinated with the leadership of the rector, because there is no other way.”
Finally, Mr. Theodorikakos urged the opposition parties to “appraise positively the efforts to ensure security at the universities.”
