OUR Hugh Jackman returns to the role of Wolverine for the film”Deadpool 3as reported on Tuesday Ryan Reynolds in social networks. But in addition to this news, the third part of the popular movie series also has a release date: September 6, 2024.

“Hi everyone, we’re really sad to miss the D23 celebration, but we’ve been working really hard on the next Deadpool movie for a while now,” Reynolds said in a video he posted.

“His first appearance in the MCU should be special. We need to stay true to character, find new motivation, meaning. Every Deadpool movie should be unique. It was an amazing challenge that pushed me to look further (…) Hugh, would you like to play Wolverine again,” Reynolds asks as Jackman approaches him from behind.

“Of course, Ryan,” Jackman replies. The video ends with Whitney Houston’s “I’ll Always Love You” morphed into “I’ll Always Love Hugh.” The Deadpool logo then appears, suddenly “cut” by Wolverine’s claws.

Wolverine was last seen by X-Men fans in the 2016 R-rated film Logan directed by James Mangold. Wolverine died at the end of the film, and Jackman has repeatedly said that this was his last time playing the character. So it is not specified how he will appear in Deadpool 3. But, as Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige said, “Anything is possible in the multiverse.”
