The pregnancy of Ksiska’s wife is a priority for Nadal

Rafa expects to become a father in the coming weeks and tennis will no longer be a priority at the end of 2022. His wife Ksiska had a number of complications during her pregnancy and the former ATP leader wanted to be by her side.

Nadal’s chances of taking part in the Paris Masters (October 31-November 6) are minimal, and the only competition in which the Iberian could be seen would be the Champions Tour, reports We Love Tennis.

The competition in Turin will be held from November 13 to 20. Rafa has already qualified, he and Carlos Alcaraz are the only mathematical qualifiers for the final tournament of the season.

Rafael Nadal, Champions Tour qualification

Over time, Rafael Nadal has won 17 ATP qualifying finals, surpassed only by Roger Federer (he has 18).

The Iberian marked 16 consecutive qualifications between 2005 and 2020 for the final tournament, which features the season’s best 8 players.

However, Rafa does not boast a single title on the Champions Tour, having only managed to play in two finals: in 2010 and 2013 (losing to Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic respectively).
