
RedBull boss Christian Horner has said he regrets not signing Oscar Piastri in the past when the young driver was making his way into F1.
After Alpine announced a replacement for Fernando Alonso in early August, Oscar Piastre has finally reached an agreement with McLaren.
Piastre will take the place of Daniel Ricciardo, who did not agree with McLaren.

Horner claims he had an opportunity to bring Piastre to RedBull, but regrets nothing was done in that regard.
“I had the opportunity to bring Oscar Piastre to RedBull, but I did not consider this option and I regret it.
McLaren’s problem for Piatri will be high expectations. He will have to prove that he can produce.
