Access to the queue to see Queen Elizabeth II’s coffin on public display at Westminster Hall was suspended on Friday due to overcrowding, with people waiting for up to 14 hours, Reuters and the BBC reported, the British government announced.
The British authorities have announced that no one will be allowed to sit in the queue anymore, the ban will be in effect for at least six hours: “The seats to the south are taken. Do not try to sit in the queue until it opens.
Almost 2 hours in & #Turn has temporarily closed in Southwark Park as it is full. The mood is high. No one complains. Lots of smiles. Everyone is friendly. A few serious and expansive royal history buffs are behind me so I’m getting an education..!! pic.twitter.com/kuANHRCpX5
