According to flashnews.gr, on Wednesday noon (14.09) near the municipality of Chania, the father of the family put his 15-year-old daughter on a chair and started hitting her on the head with a stick. The child called for help, causing the neighbors to hear the voices, stand up and call the police.

According to the same information, one of the neighbors rushed to stop him, but his father attacked, hit him and drove off on his motorcycle, and he allegedly then hit a second person who tried to intervene.

Shortly after the arrival of the police, the girl told the police about what had happened. The minor complained that her father beat her in this way because she was two minutes late for her home.

In fact, the girl said that in addition to her, her father also abuses her mother, but she denies this, and also beats her two other brothers and sisters, a boy of about 13 years old and a little girl of only 4 years old.

She then described the scene when her little sister was only 2 years old. According to her, her father locked her on the balcony and said that as punishment she would sleep on the street, and the child would cry and beg to be put in the house because she was afraid.

A 15-year-old girl reportedly told police that when the father beats the children, the mother watches indifferently.

It is worth noting that this does not seem to be the first case for the family, as neighbors have previously called the police to intervene in similar incidents within the family, according to testimony.
