
Dejan Bodiroga officially became its new president Euroleague. The Serb, a former basketball player, replaced Jordi Bertomeu.
The Spanish agent left after 22 years of service. Next to Bodiroga will be American Marshall Glickman, who holds the position of general manager.
Jordi Bertomeu’s term officially ended on 30 June. The league’s shareholder teams made the relevant decision in October 2021 and ratified it after a vote a month later.
“We are entering a new era in the Euroleague. Over the past 20 years, we have seen basketball establish itself as a global sport. I would like to thank Jordi Bertomeu and his team for their vision and hard work. I look forward to further developing this and expanding the coverage of the Euroleague and Eurocup,” said Dejan Bodiroga in his first speech.
Euroleague Basketball (EB) announced changes to its senior management on Wednesday, September 14, with a new president and new CEO appointed by its shareholders.
