
​Romanian women’s handball runner-up CSM Bucharest beat Crimea Ljubljana 30-28 (17-19) in their Champions League Group A opener.
As part of CSM Bucharest, the main scorers were Zaadi with 8 goals, Nyagu with 5, Pintya with 4, and Dmytrieva and Radichevich were outstanding in Crimea, with 9 goals each.
Crimea led 18-13 at halftime, but CSM made an impressive comeback in the second half.

CSM Bucharest’s next match will be away against Brest Bretagne Handball on September 18.
