The establishment of a personal physician is a free provision for all citizens who for the first time will have a health adviser for health education, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and guidance for serious health problems.

The Panhellenic Pharmaceutical Association sent instructions to pharmacists to connect and explain the work of the registration platform to the family doctor.

The pharmacist chooses a personal doctor at the request of a citizen and registers with him.

Upon completion of the registration, the citizen receives an informational SMS and/or email to complete the registration with a specific personal doctor, as well as their personal codes for electronic access to the Individual Electronic Health Card. Those who do not have a mobile phone will receive them exclusively in hard copy. Minors under the age of 16 cannot yet register with a personal physician.

Pharmacists are paid once for AMKA in all cases, with compensation set at EUR 3 up to 24% VAT. Payment will be made on a monthly basis with a service invoice that will be issued at the beginning of each following month for hosted transactions that will be taken from IDIKA for specific time periods.
