The wife of a famous actor and cult leader who is on trial for one rape and two attempts to rape three of his co-workers, testified today in defense of the defendants.

At the start of her testimony, Ms Ninou questioned the validity of the complaints made by the three actors against the defendant and attributed the entire case, as did Petros Philippidis, to her apologetic memos, in an attempt to discredit him on grounds of publicity and revenge.

The witness, who appeared calm during most of the interrogation by the judges, burst into tears when she was asked if anyone had told her anything she had heard about her husband and when she was asked to talk to the priest about her private life.

Witness: This is my personal life. It’s been very hard for me lately. They spoiled me and Peter. I am a woman who honored her family and cared for her child. I stopped working. The witness testified that she knew the first applicant, as the defendant had worked with her mother for six years and had also met the alleged victim along the way: “She was a compulsive girl,” said Ms Ninou, who was asked by Edra. why she characterizes complainers as “compulsive”.

According to him, “she wandered around the dressing rooms under the pretext that she wanted to see her mother. Children of actors come to the theater, but not every day. This is not a meeting place. Ms Ninou ruled out the possibility that what the first applicant invoked was applicable. As regards the second and third applicants, the witness said that she did not know anything.
