On the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the “Queen of Latin American music” Gloria Estefan, a collectible Barbie doll was released in her honor. The legendary singer shared a video on her personal Instagram page, which reads: “Best birthday present ever! My Barbie! with a musical cover of her 1989 song “Stand On Your Feet”.
Debuting on the eve of National Hispanic Heritage Month, the new Barbie celebrates the chart-topping hit “Get on Your Feet” and is inspired by the singer’s Cuban heritage and iconic music video. According to Mattel, she wears a black jacket with “ornate gold details and bright lace sleeves.” A leopard belt, spectacular thigh-high boots and gold accessories complete the look of the singer.
