Roman is the son of the president’s eldest daughter Maria Vorontsova and her first husband, a citizen of the Netherlands, Jorrit Faassen.
Roman Faassen represents Moscow at the competition, next to his name on the board of the car there is a Russian flag, on his belt – Russian and Dutch flags.
The racing helmet is painted yellow-orange with a silver double-headed eagle on top.
Explosions continue in Crimea
In April, Ukraine hit its flagship warship, the Moskva, with Neptune missiles, causing it to catch fire and sink.
In August, its Saka air base in southwestern Crimea, near the naval headquarters in Sevastopol, was destroyed by a series of explosions that destroyed eight military aircraft, according to satellite images.
Then the explosions thundered in the ammunition warehouse at the military base in the north of the peninsula. Russia called it sabotage, and Ukraine hinted at itself.
Russia’s FSB later said it had detained six members of a so-called Islamist terrorist cell in Crimea, but did not say whether they were suspected of involvement in the bombings.
