“Following the announcement by the Izmir-based NATO Land Forces Headquarters regarding Turkish Armed Forces Day, the Permanent Representative of Greece to NATO sent a letter of strong protest to the NATO Secretary General, emphasizing that this post is not only inappropriate, but also unacceptable.
At the same time, the Greek military authorities in NATO will make a similar representation in the NATO Supreme Headquarters (SHAPE), which includes the headquarters of the Ground Forces.
