A few months ago, Peugeot unveiled its latest product: the 408. raised sedan a cousin of the 308, already launched quite a while ago. Both then share many technical characteristics, starting with the EMP2 platform, in a version designed for 100% electric motorization. The high price
Indeed, an internal note from Peugeot has leaked online and contains some interesting information regarding the pricing positioning of the compact car with high legs. Indeed, if we stopped at the entrance ticket that revolves around 35,000 euros, it is better to expect to spend more than 50,000 euros. Indeed, the Peugeot 408 will be demonstrated with 50,600 euros its version is available for order from September. But beware, as this is not the price of an entry-level finish, don’t worry. This price really refers to the starting version called First Edition with quite interesting equipment.
Limited quantity
Indeed, this version is dressed in, among other things, the beautiful Bleu Obsession, as well as 20-inch wheels. Under its hood, we will find the most powerful engine in the lineup, namely a 225 horsepower battery hybrid mated to an eight-speed EAT8 automatic transmission. The compact will also come with a 7.4kW charger, while the trim level is unknown. Please note that only 300 copies will be available. Then you will have to wait a bit before you know the prices for the rest of the range.
