Toyota is preparing a new one 100% electric sedanbaptized Toyota bZ3 : a series of photos showing the car in full has been leaked from the company’s official website Ministry of Industry and Information Technologies China, which regularly broadcasts photos of future models for their approval in China.
The production Toyota bZ3 is almost identical to the Toyota bZ SDN concept that was unveiled last year among a large collection of 16 new electric concept cars from Toyota and Lexus.
Toyota bZ3: futuristic style
This sedan is the second model of the “bZ” family. (“Beyond Zero”) of Toyota electric vehicles and is 4.73 meters long, 1.84 meters wide and 1.48 meters high, all with a 2.88 meter wheelbase.
Like the Toyota bZ4X SUV, the bZ3 sedan has futuristic and clean lines, with a large windshield as well as large glass sections that should bring pleasant light into the cabin and increase the feeling of space, as well as outward visibility.
The Toyota bZ3 has been spotted completely undisguised in the Middle Kingdom with a strong design influence from last year’s bZ SDN Concept. Additionally, the all-new model will run on the automaker’s e-TNGA platform and could be offered with a range of around 220 miles. electrical range pic.twitter.com/dCxZuK0tKk

Toyota bZ3: two electric motors
The photos also show a two-tone bZ3 with a white livery and black pillars and roof that give it an even more sophisticated look. The model also features flush door handles, 16-inch and 18-inch wheels, and a light signature that spans the entire width of the car, both front and rear.
Under the hood we have to find two engines : the first version 185 horsepoweras well as a more powerful second with 248 horsepower. According to the latest rumours, LFP battery (lithium-iron-phosphate) “Blade” will be supplied by the Chinese manufacturer BYD, but the model is based on e-TNGA platform from Toyota.
Toyota bZ3: launch at the end of the year
Inside, the emphasis should be on technology, with a large vertical central screen complemented by a digital instrument panel located in front of the driver, but located at the base of the windshield to allow head-up reading: a process reminiscent of Peugeot’s i-Cockpit of the last decade.
Toyota bZ3 will be officially presented at the Guangzhou Motor Show in the month November 2022, ahead of marketing planned for the end of the year in China. At the moment, there is no confirmed information about the launch of this new model in Europe.
