
According to an Italian newspaper la republicthe German government seems to be changing its position on setting a maximum price for natural gas. “Restrained optimism in the government of Mario Draghi. Something is moving in Berlin, and as far as the price ceiling for natural gas is concerned, there are significant, positive sentiments there,” writes the Roman newspaper in its online edition.
He adds that “the message reached the government building in Rome, Palazzo Chizzi, from the Chancellery and must be confirmed, of course, at the comparative decision stage.”
Finally, La Repubblica emphasizes that “everything will be tested on September 9 at an extraordinary meeting of EU energy ministers.”
