The recording was shared on Twitter by Colonel Anatoly Shtefan, who for months announced the destruction of several Russian military commanders and acquaintances, noting that on August 11, “the traitor and collaborator Aiksar Laishev was eliminated.”

Laishev, a former policeman, was appointed by the occupation authorities as the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the so-called LPR (LPR) in the city of Starobilsk.

In turn, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the RPL reported that the Toyota Land Cruiser SUV “caught fire” in Starobilsk after “the owner of the foreign car left the nearby shopping center, got into the car and drove away.”

The so-called ministry created by the occupation authorities said that the man was brought to the intensive care unit by a passer-by and was hospitalized with burns to 90% of his body.

Residents of Starobilsk came out in front of Russian tanks

Although it is probably a forgotten name after six months of war, this city in eastern Luhansk region was the scene of some of the fiercest fighting in the early days of the invasion launched by Vladimir Putin on February 24, with apocalyptic pictures of the aftermath of the clashes. widely distributed in social networks.

Also, in Starobilsk at the beginning of March, ordinary Ukrainians stood in front of columns of Russian tanks and armored vehicles, trying to stop them with their bare hands. Others, wrapped in Ukrainian or EU flags, shouted: “Go home!” or “Starobilsk is Ukraine.”

Despite the fact that the city was eventually occupied, residents protested against the occupying forces for several days, directly confronting Russian soldiers.

The Russian armed forces managed to capture the Luhansk region only after another 4 months of heavy fighting, and on July 3, Russian Defense Minister Serhii Shoigu announced the fall of Lysyansk, the last major city in this region in eastern Ukraine.
